John founded the business in 1999 and has spent decades designing and delivering control systems across a wide range of industries. With a background in heating, pumping, and automation, he brings practical experience and a no-nonsense approach to every project. At PSL Controls, John leads on design and technical delivery—always focused on building smart, reliable systems that stand the test of time.

Josh grew up around control panels and engineering projects, so it was only natural he'd follow in the family footsteps. With a background in Electrical Installation and hands-on experience across design, assembly, and project management, he brings fresh energy and attention to detail to everything we do. Josh is the go-to for keeping projects moving smoothly—from initial ideas through to final delivery—and plays a key role in shaping the future of PSL Controls.

Lucy first joined John and Josh back in 2008, quickly becoming a key part of the team—building control panels and later leading our assembly division. After taking a career break to raise her family, she returned to PSL in early 2025 and has slotted straight back in. With a sharp eye for detail and years of hands-on experience, Lucy plays a vital role across both our control panel and product assembly teams

With a degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering and energy management, and a keen interest in electronics, Jayan has quickly become a valuable member of the PSL Controls team. Bringing years of hands-on experience as a maintenance engineer, he’s skilled at troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Jayan works across both our control panel and product assembly teams, combining technical know-how with practical problem-solving to keep projects on track.

With a wealth of experience in social and digital marketing Harriet brings valuable expertise to PSL Controls’ digital presence. As Josh’s wife, she has worked alongside him both at home and in the workplace for over 15 years, making a great team. Harriet's passion for baking means her delicious treats often make an appearance at client meetings. Harriet manages all things digital marketing, helping to share our story and connect with clients online.

Deb has been a vital part of the PSL team over the years, initially heading finance at Paneltech and being the one who steadies the ship. As John’s wife, she continues to support PSL Controls with accounts and general administration. Outside of work, Deb is passionate about sewing and runs her own business alongside her role with us, balancing creativity and precision in everything she does.
